Which one is the better Mai-series and why is Sunrise isn't planning more Mai-franchise stuff?
>>
For me, it was HiME. That was forever ago. This IP had its heyday a loooong time ago, and it's doubtful that they will resurrect it.

HiME because it has an interesting characters and great PLOT

Mai-Hime. The OP and ED were top-tier; the OP always made me feel like a hime.

>Which one is the better Mai-series
HiME has better writing and action sequences, but a shit ending and little logical room for a sequel.
Otome has sexier characters and more room for sequels, but a vastly inferior plotline.

>why is Sunrise isn't planning more Mai-franchise stuff?
Because your dumbass has been saying a new Mai series will come out next year... for the past 16 years.

Rephrase that to "doubtful they'll give it a new anime" and you're golden. Bandai Namco resurrected it to extract shekels from the 100 remaining Japanese fans with half assed merch and Blu-Ray boxsets.

The nostalgia train for this anime needs to end. Otome's last episode premiered 20 years ago to this day, so it's time to put the wishcasting to rest until real motion is made. Retreading old ground every 2 months is retiring.
These threads are also being boosted by a samefag that just spams artwork.
