This anime would've been better as a series. Since it has no plot, episodic episodes would be the best. And you can get more out of the world and aesthetics.
>>287162907Too Japanese for OP
>>287162907guy on the right looks familiar
>>287162939> it's okay if it doesn't reach it's potential>because ...>um>just because chud
>>287163162Presenting it as a series will dilute the essence of 神隠し/Spirited Away and made the ending sequence way less impactful.
>>287163958Oh the ending sequence of them just casually going out and being humans again and it ending in 2 seconds?Or the Haku thing which was really ridiculous.
>>287162907>greatest movie of all time would have been better as a seriesDisagree. I would agree if you said this about Nausicaä or Akira or GITS, but not Spirited Away. And it absolutely does have a plot, a fairly obvious one if you have three digits to your mind.
>>287162907i strongly disagree, keeping it short adds to the feeling of it being a magical once-in-a-lifetime experienceshe can't stay there forever and it might all have felt like a dream, but her heart knows it happened and she won't forget it
>>287166709Well put.
>>287166540>>287162907it absolutely does have a plot it does not have a story.
>>287162907It does have a plot but sometimes it goes over brainlets' heads
>>287167734i.e. you read about it somewhere and it makes you feel smart.
>>287167685It's the other way around. Plot is an element of a story.
>>287162907I would have liked it too because the world is incredible; I haven't had the same feeling with any other piece of fiction since. But the movie works as a movie, so it's not necessary
I hate plotfags so much
