I've said it before, but the Gheer stuff should have happened until after we've spent a good amount of time with Raloud.At this point it's obvious that Raloud is gonna join the main cast with Nona and Mira (denying it is just cope. Even his magic is designed to compliment Nona's). Gheer should've been a guy from Raloud's past who crosses paths with the gang later on. This flashback would not have felt so obtrusive if it didn't happen immediately after we got Raloud/Belator's backstory. Cause now half the manga has been Raloud/Gheer flashbacks.But my criticisms aside, it's not getting axed. The sales are excellent for a J+ series.

Everything about Gheer feels as if you’d taken a liking to a random character with little screentime, like Naoya from Jjk, and decided to create a long doujin about how he ended up becoming so depraved. The chapters varying so much in page count, and that many of those pages are reiterative and unnecessary, is also due to that.
