You know, I enjoyed this show way more in the beginning when it was more low-tech and still made an effort to walk us through the crafting and preparation process; actually showed characters making all sorts of neat devices and putting that scientific theory into practice. There was an illusion of plausibility there. Now we're just pulling small modern container ships out of our asses. It's all been pure magic for the last couple of seasons. I am disappoint.

As the founding population consists of six people and there wasn't enough time for too many mutations to pile up, every village person shares 16.7% of their genome with Byakuya possibly more or less but that's really getting into the weeds. If Senku was his son he would have 50% of his dad's genes and statistically 8.3% of the villagers'. They would be slightly more related than first cousins once removed.

I thought that the faded scar was meant to make him look more innocent but somehow it doesn't seem to be working at all. Recently finished reading the manga, it was good fun but everything after Suika's 7 year timeskip felt like fast-forward. Some other mangaka would've easily kept the series running for like 20+ years, just stretching out every step it took for them to get to the moon.
