Jesus Christ why? it doesn’t even feel like Togashi is trying to write a cohesive story. Seems he cares more about every single character getting their own wordy internal monologue section even if it leads to nothing or adds nothing except repeating what we already know. For example, 388 and 389 is filled with text that ends up moot or meaningless due to halkenburg pretty much ending any of Benjamins guards “room tactics” through forcing Benjamin to start martial law. Now Rihan is pretty much useless, while doing nothing notable post murdering Sale Sales nen beast. Not to mention the text is filled with him repeating shit we already know. Plus, every character in this arc is an over thinker who sounds the same, so there’s nothing interesting in particular about ricans internal monologue !
We don’t yet know how things will play out with Benjamin and his men for you to say it’s all been rendered pointless.
