Just finished CSM last night.I spent my time on it and read it in one week.Never read a single chapter before this or looked into the plot at all, I just saw porn spammed everywhere.I give it a solid 2/5.Hard to believe it ever got so popular with so little character development.The characters that are developed (Denji, Yoru(?)) are boring and lackluster with zero interesting goals.The art was sometimes very good, but it was just gore slop in too many panels and the non spreads were very poorly drawn and almost copy pasted from other chapters.The plot often doesn't make much sense, despite having a really good background world. Devils are a big threat, but the problem isn't tackled in any meaningful way.Making Shit Up Devil appeared every few chapters. This same problem persists in most modern shounen sloppa.There is no rational behind it. Go a few chapters after boring dialog and a fight? MAKE MORE SHIT UP THAT DOESNT RELATE TO ANYTHING!!!!!!All the effort is put into the art and action, and almost no thought is put into the story, characters, meanings.Sex sells and faggots eat it up. More news at 11, but not even BnHA was this bad at telling a story.

Am I the only one who feels like a potential part 3 could actually be good?I mean, part 1 was great, but at the end Fujimoto went full scorched earth and murdered most of the cast. If it had ended there it would still have been a decent ending even if somewhat bittersweet, but we got part 2 and it was a mess. The best character dynamics were gone because Aki and Power were killed off, plus whatever character development Denji got was seemingly undone and he turned into an even more retarded coomer. The whole Asa/Yoru thing was neat, but not enough to carry the manga after what part 1 did.But since Fujimoto pulled a complete reset out of his arse and now everything is back to the beginning, if somehow we got a part 3 it could actually be as good as part 1 if he decided to not decimate the fucking cast this time.It's not like everything is the exact same either, since Makima is gone, plus there are still unanswered questions and all.
