The color design is so soft and sparkly without looking cheap, and the character acting has way more life than most villainess adaptations. Niga’s design especially pops, she actually looks ethereal instead of just “blonde with filters.”Feels like shoujo finally escaped the powerpoint-era curse. If this keeps up we might actually get consistent sakuga in otome adaptations instead of 12 episodes of still frames and glitter overlays. I’m eating good this season.
