Why isn't there much seinen or josei manga or anime with this combination of traits?>broad, interesting premise>cast of interesting characters that play off of each other well>interesting cast of bad guys>visually flashy action>good balance of humor, action, and drama >willingness to lean into dumb bullshitYou can't really find this combination of traits outside of stuff made for kids or teenagers. Everything else either hyperfocuses on one of these aspects, or has the antithesis of it (everyone is moody, generic criminals ad the bad guys, lame action scenes, overly grimdark writing and presentation)

>>287222684The mangaka of Fushigi Yuugi has done josei, but also shonen manga. The recent works of the mangaka of Hime-chan no Ribbon have been josei. Clamp has done stuff in various demographics. I think some were josei, but they're more seinen and shonen along with shoujo.
