We begin with Yayoi stone-cold shooting Yin on the ground. Charlie is still shocked. Once he realizes David betrayed them, he comes back to his senses and mocks her, "Do you think you've got us now? I'll tell you we still have an ace up our sleeves..."But Yayoi continues, "You people don't matter." She reveals that the only thing that mattered was separating Yume from Nagomi for a time.Charlie finally realizes that Yayoi possessing her current body and his whole mutiny might've all been to create a decoy when the time came to kill Nagomi.Charlie is unceremonious shot, nevertheless, Yin gets back up. Yayoi isn't surprised that wasn't enough to kill him. Yin reveals another surprising truth: He doesn't actually care about Yayoi. Then he smiles towards David, who headshots him twice.We get a flashback with narration by Yin, who tells he figured out back then that the woman he kidnapped was David's mother, that his objective from the very beginning was to kill Yin, and so, he feels the need to face him head on.He knew that Yayoi wasn't at fault, nor was it merely the consequences of his birth circumstances. He did it all, he killed who he had to because otherwise they'd kill him, so while he didn't mind that, he still wanted to kill them without unnecessary suffering.Yet, he couldn't in David's mother's case, and that's always pissed him off, and he's gotta do something with all that anger pointed towards himself.After being shot over and over, Yin still gets back up, to the point David himself starts sweating. For the last time, Yin looks directly at him and points towards his forehead, smiling.His final thoughts are: "I'm not trying to redeem myself. I just want to settle things. Otherwise, I'd be pissed off all my life. You're the same, aren't you? Davi---"David finally does it, and with tears in his eyes, he says he's coming to his mother's side and jumps.
Yayoi just watches before taking out her phone and calls someone, reporting about the three deaths: Charlie Finch (Existential Risk G), accuracy 99%. Yin Zhou (Existential Risk C), accuracy 89%. David Chaff (Existential Risk F), accuracy 76%. Despite the worries over Chaff, everything went according to plan.She continues, realizing the person over the phone is a newbie. She straight up says that everything in Yin's life, from his birth to the feud between the Lin and Wang gangs were orchestrated by Q to judge his ability. Even in the end he couldn't let go of the misconception that it was his fault, he never thought he was being manipulated. "Idiots have no use. Remember that."Back to reality, Jin is pissed. Yume tells him, "I know what you're thinking, Jin. 'I'll kill Yayoi Kokuryou'. But you're not enough. Let's join forces."That's it for now. Next chapter on the 10th.

Some of them even indirectly being done by Q no less. Heck, a Gray entitiy that normally should be super deadly winds up just sitting in a chair unmoving because the secrets of the universe changes things too much.
