Just watched this because it was made by the Nichijou guy.It was alright, would have been nice to spend more time with certain characters than others.Last episode or two weren't great.Thank you for reading my review.

CITY's main weakness lies in its expansive cast. It means the show takes longer to get to grips with as you need time to become familiar with the various character dynamics and relationships. After a few episodes though it hits its stride (around pic related) and doesn't let off the brakes for a moment.I think as a whole package it's slightly weaker than Nichijou. But from a pure "sakuga" perspective it's one of the best animated shows this decade. If not a contender for top 3.

Even if they're really good in what they adapt (like City imo) they're almost always incomplete. Now, the City anime has its own concept that I think is cool, but the cast is so large that plenty of characters are nothing more than background cameos in the anime.
