>>287231674I think it did fine, but they did the whole story pretty much with the adaptation, just skipped stuff here and there. They'd have to do a Non Non Biyori Repeat style thing to add to it now. Maybe there's a coherent story they can make from what they didn't include, but I doubt it. That said, the mangaka was involved, and maybe he'll come up with new stuff someday.
Shit comedy for redditors who hate/don't understand real japanese humor and SHITTY is even worse hope the author never gets another chance to get another work adapted and commits seppukku.
