Try reading Yama no Susume in Japanese. Ruri no Houseki is like this too. The dialogue isn't that difficult but there's a lot of detailed diagrams and informative text. And there's often half a page to a page of just text at the end of each chapter. Post a page from Reptiles so people can see what you're talking about.
