How do you guys deal with days where there's a lot of anime episodes airing?
Whenever there's 3 or fewer episodes, I have no problem watching things in time and keeping up with the threads. But once it gets into the 5+ range, I find that by the time I've finished watching everything, the threads are already 200 posts in. At which point, I feel like I'm late to the party. And if I watch an episode then participate in the thread for it before moving onto the next anime, then by the time I'm done with the 5th new episode that day, the thread for it is basically done. Sure, some seasonals are basically generals that get more threads. But a lot of the time, an episode gets one thread a week.

just watch it

Backlog it. If it stays in the backlog forever it's probably not worth my time.

You don't need to watch everything the day it airs and threads are rarely worth following live.

I don't watch normalfaggot shit like Frieren/JJK/etc so I dont have this problem.

I watch at my own pace. Those fags who get upset at people making threads on anything but the release date of a new episode are morons.

Have you considered watching them over 2 days

But that just compounds the problem into the next day

>There's 5 good animu
I sit back to enjoy this historical moment. There's rarely more than 1 animu to watch. This moment could be over the next day.

>fuck off seasonals
>catch up randomly 5 years later
>go on /a/ to berate them for not telling me earlier about this cool anime I just watched

I don't watch anime unless I enjoy it, for one thing. If it's a chore to keep up with a show, then that's a good reason to drop it.

But if you're actually so busy you can't take 30 minutes out your day to watch an episode then you can just save it for a later day in the week when you have time. I do that with some shows, if I have a packed weekend and can't fit all the new eps into my schedule.

Anymore, I don't force myself to follow stuff. If watching an episode feels like a chore, I drop it.

Bro I still got 50+ years of anime I gotta catch up on, I'm nowhere close to watching current shit
