Not a chance they'd have been able to get it done by fall of that year. Production committee didn't even announce the anime until the end of 2023.>>287252318Yes and no. It's good because they poached a bunch of Bind staff and built a production pipeline that integrated their techniques. The delay from 2025 means it definitely took them longer than they expected to build up the team and workflow, but it definitely paid off. The second season has the advantage of all the reusable 3D assets, like the various faeries, Teoritta's swords, human mob soldiers, horses, etc. being ready for use. It'll make the production much smoother and quicker. I'd expect a proper PV by the end of this year, and the season proper between spring and fall of next year.

The rest can be discerned from having some basic knowledge of the industry and the reports of staff moving from Bind, who built a veritable warchest of techniques to animate Mushoku Tensei as well as they did. Building that sort of workflow takes time, but it pays off in the long run.
