He got jumped by Reigen because he was so focused on beating other espers that he had a blind spot for normal humans he never even considered, which is a very thematically fitting way to lose for Mob Pyscho 100.

He was like a cockroach villain who keeps coming back every time he's defeated but weaker until he can finally be killed. He overwhelmed almost everyone he fought. Did you forget that he destroyed Gintoki in their first fight? And he mostly had the upper hand in their rematch which Gintoki only won because he pulled off the setting up the stake trick.
