The Master fights took over the series a bit post tournament but the author actually tries to dial them back a bit. And by resolutely keeping the SA to only people established in the Ragnarok arc the main cast doesn't balloon too much

I just read the 3 chapters of the sequel after finishing this storytime. It literally feels like just another chapter of the original, like no time passed at all besides art style changes. Miu has her forehead back too, which is nice.But the story picks up exactly where the finale ended, I'm impressed. I thought he'd need to adapt and get back in the Kenichi state of mind, like how DBS feels very different from DB.
This is genuinely my favorite spread in the whole series

Now that it's over I must admit Niijima is my favorite character. The manipulative coward with weird design archetype tends to be the comic relief or early jobber but he's actually charismatic, cunning and plays a huge role in the story for a non-combatant
