I have discovered the "reversed chastity world" mangas, and I'm hooked. A world where men are much rarer than women, thus making women the ones that have to approach men, usually with our protagonist being a male from our world that was transported there."Danjohi 1:5 no Sekai demo Futsu ni Ikirareru to Omotta?" is easily the best one I've read so far, with multiple heroines misunderstanding the protagonist's kindness (to extreme degrees), and I'm really loving the build up towards a yandere showdown. Anyone else enjoying these?
>>287256449Only read one where the protag gets body swapped with a parallel world version of herself rather than a world with a population imbalance, but I enjoyed it. I also think the concept does nothing or me so it's all in the execution.
>>287257214I planned on giving this one a read later. Was less inclined to read it right away since it seems like a comedy take on the subgenre, which I thought I'd probably enjoy more after reading more of them.
>>287257328I kind of want the fmc girl to get to the point already. Her chapters are just reacting to reverse situations while her original world male counterpart is having tons of sex with her friends by being a prostitute. Like when is it going to be finally her time to do something? It’s frustrating to see her character being wasted like that.
>>287258026What can she do? She's slowly becoming more open to sex, but the men in this world are hard to catch so at most she'll end up paying for sex like her friends are.

>>287258298Pardon me.>>287256449manga*
>>287257328it's basically the doujin version of this that started it all
These reverse chastity manga only work in Japan, and basically only in the heads of chigyuu because the average nip (both women and men) is addicted to cheating.
>>287256449This sounds like absolute hell. Imagine our current world, the only one of a lower status than an ugly man is an ugly woman. What this means is that Chad gets a harem, while you become even more socially invisible than before.
>>287259466>this fictional narrative about an absurd alternate world only works in your headWhoa, really?
>>287260019>the only one of a lower status than an ugly man is an ugly womanjiijii, that is no longer true they just become a vtuber
Of the reversed morality series that focus on the lewd stuff I keep going back to the well of pic rel and the serialized version of it. I think the author really understood the assignment of reverse morality. Often the stories just kinda devolve into "women are le horny XD" without consideration of how that horniness would materialize in a world where females are the ones who set the sex appeal and beauty standards. I would also appreciate more stories where the man would want to keep a low profile about being so eager to fuck in the isekai because not everyone would appreciate a shameless slut/town bike.

>>287260133>AND I HAVE THE APPRAISAL SKILL
>>287260112I mean, I may be wrong here, but wouldn't the standards of women be higher and not lower? As in, you would be bombarded by images of male sexuality everywhere, they would expect every guy to be incredibly muscular and good-looking as an ideal.I don't really see like the male version of feminists pushing for 'uglier men'. That doesn't work even narratively.
>>287256449Gender ratio and reverse morals aren't the same. Both can be in the same story but not the same.
>>287260200>As in, you would be bombarded by images of male sexuality everywhere, they would expect every guy to be incredibly muscular and good-looking as an idealI think this is a matter of the author's worldbuilding. In pic rel for example, the big buff muscular MC is seen as unattractive in the same way as overly muscular women IRL aren't seen as conventionally attractive, so the sexual ideal is the twinkish type. In >>287260112 however they show that the sexual ideal *is* the buff muscular man type. For me personally when I think of reverse morality I think of how men IRL don't actually care too much about physical appearances, sure there are common standards like big boobs, thick thighs, etc. but for a hormonal teen or young adult when most of these stories are set, pussy is pussy and you're just glad to find someone willing to give you the time of day. My point is I think men on average are less picky, and if we apply that morality in the isekai setting then women of that world aren't gonna be as fixated with standards as they are IRL
>>287260133I feel like this guy would be in genuine danger
>>287256449Those romcoms always drag the plot. Watch as 50 chapters later the showdown won't have happened.
>>287260112>I would also appreciate more stories where the man would want to keep a low profile about being so eager to fuck in the isekai because not everyone would appreciate a shameless slut/town bike.Inn on a Dungeon Island's MC is like that. He still has a decent bit of sex, but only after an arc of emotionally connecting with someone, and goes out of his way to not look like the town bike even though he's a horndog on the inside. But Dungeon Inn reverses more than just chastity.
>>287260290Women wouldn't be as fixed on preferences for a fuck, but they'd still be more fixed on an ideal of what they think is hot. Like if MC was ugly, it would be a different class of women wanting to fuck him. If MC was mediocre or plain, the top of the class might still be willing to sleep with him, but not really date.I read one story - untranslated - which had basically had that same premise. One of the popular ones was a kissless virgin, so she wanted to use the MC as a secret practice boyfriend until she had enough confidence to go for the guy she really liked. And then their romance slowly developed from there.
>>287256449>chastityAre the men kept in cages?
>>287257328It's pretty much one of the first ones that appeared, so it's not a "parody making fun of genderbend series" conventions if that's what you were thinking, but just an earnest take on how the world would be with reversed conventions, with some humor mixed in.
