do you have favorite artist for how they draw faces in manga?for me it's ryoko kui
>>287266043Kaito
>>287266043SS-era Kubo.
>>287267171Kubo was definitely top tier in his peak in overall character design as well faces.
Kyougorou
>>287266043Yamashita Tomoko and Muroi Daisuke stand out to me as being really good at drawing facial expressions that communicate a lot without words.
>>287266043I like the Tengoku guy.
>>287266043Ryoko Kui is genuinely top 10 goated modern artists and its crazy people don't recognize itI really hope she tries another work after Dungeon Meshi, when she gets bored of Baldur's Gate 3
Tsukasa Kotobuki
>>287266043I do really love the way Urasawa draws faces. He uses a lot of big, exaggerated features in his character designs but still manages to make everyone equally expressive in their own way. Shit, some of his asian characters look like what you'd see on American WW2 propaganda posters. Pic unrelated, everybody has pretty normal proportions here, but still you can see a lot of variation.
>>287275594He doesn't draw like that anymore.
can't say it's my favorite but I really do like the way fujimoto draws uninterested, bashful and annoyed expressions.>>287266043the less expressive faces of laios compared to marcille's and the rest of characters, really is excellent characterization. probably where the, "the touden siblings are autistic," take comes from.
