So I just finished watching the first season of this series.I want to know how people felt about this one.Personally I am not a fan of how the story is told.I understand it's fiction. Teenagers act differently in real life, etc. But I feel like this series pushed too much in the direction of trying to act realistic, while also being wildly unrealistic.Case in point. Almost all of the characters act like master poets. The way they think, act, and talk feels like too much of a play. Chitose is the biggest issue for me with this.Another is that, while I think that it's trying to subvert expectations regarding the "harem" part, it feels kind of tacky. This one I have no good explanation why I feel like that. So yeah it's kinda of a weak excuse for me.I'll give another series as an example that's wildly, preposterously too "out there". Classroom of the Elite. For some reason, and I don't know why, Chitose felt more cringy that CotE.I dunno. It's fine, I guess, until they suddenly act like philosophers and poets.
