How do you keep it up?
I don't waste my mental energy thinking about something that isn't even out yet and might never be made after all.
if I'm interested in something like that I put it on my waitlist and move on. there are enough finished series to tide me over until/if it ever actually finishes
>>287279562Similar to me, except I’ll usually have a short burst of time where I’m very interested for a while, but sooner or later it goes out of sight out of mind.
Man, back then we had so many expectations on anime...

>>287281053 Damn, I still remember when I gave up D. Gray Man. it's amazing how what was, easily, as popular as pretty much any big Shonen name at a time that had giant names famous to this day, is missing out in Anime's most popular worldwide period due to the Author's health issues (or whatever the fuck was up with that). I didn't even fucking bother reading the few chapters that dropped by sporadically, like; why the fuck would I bother if I know it's 100% not going to keep going regularly?

So is despera going to happen?
>>287278986I just don't think about it
>>2872830602 more weeks
>>287281382just read the novels
>>287281053>>287281343As a long time DGM fan, I can tell you we had it very rough for a while. Constant hiatuses, a failed anime comeback, pacing slow as a snail, stuck into flashback Hell for years... The good thing is that the manga has a stable publication rate now (even if it's still slow) and the author sped up the pacing recently, not as bad as Vagabond or Nana but still painful, especially comparing it to the weekly era.
>>287281053>D.gray ManIt was pretty fun at the start, but I dropped it after it went full fujo.
>>287286157I also don't like what it became of it, but I still follow the manga because I liked the early stages of the story when it was a battle-shonen.
>>287278986Project still going onThis is true
