I rarely see people here discuss Anime movies, only shows and manga.Care to share some of your favs?What are some Anime kinos you enjoyed recently?I've been watching a lot of films by Masaaki Yuasa and Takeshi Koike and having a great time. I feel like films in general have greater animation quality and varied artstyles.

>>287287041I've never been much of a Tezuka fan but the more adaptations of his works I've seen the more curious I get. For recent watches, it's Metropolis. I had no idea what to expect going in and wound up getting plenty of great visuals and characters. Definitely worth a watch, I'm glad I've seen so many recommendations for it on /a/.Also rewatched Time of Eve (movie) recently. Leaving everything else aside, I think it's worth a watch just for the tie-in short that goes with it, Aquatic Language. I watch like one or two movies a year and they all tend to be romance movies, which are all okay at best.

Hosoda is past it, no hope of him returning to his best. However I was extremely disappointed by kimi no iro, disgustingly boring story and boring characters, huge let down from the trio who made liz. Excited to watch parieto, looks very interesting.
