I think season 1 material covers all the slice of life stuff and has really weak political themes, but it is undeniable the author is a Twitter-leftist in every sense of the word. I doubt many people on here actually align with the authors espoused viewpoints let alone with where the manga goes. It’s not a bad story by any means (I quite like recent arcs and the art is gorgeous) but the author inserting their political fanfic into story moments where it doesn’t really make sense will sadly bring all the right wing grifters and anti-grifter trolls out of the woodworks. It’d be nice to get a thread just about the show, but the author’s politics are so deeply intertwined at this point it’s really impossible to separate the art from the author. I doubt threads will either lol.
