Everyone thought this whole time, why didn't she pop the cherry of every Eva series with a progressive knife in the film, when she must have known by instinct that was the kill spot for anything resembling an Angel.

Everyone thought, oh she must have still been scatter brained from the coma or the drugs, maybe she was just trying to save time or the knife would have broke anyway.

But no, this accidental picture perfect team-kill proves it. She was stupid. Sohryuu Asuka Langley is just stupid. The entire plot hinges on this one simple fact.
