In the distance, that day, when the star became music...A great ending to a great show. The quantity and quality of music, its integration into the fights, the sheer love given to the side characters, the constant nerd references, and the gradual build-up of the plot from Queen to Queen to Carol all made clear this is the kind of series that is simply fun because the people making it are having fun. I really hope the staff will be able to carry this passion into another project in the future, be it sequel, prequel, or a new successor to the proud battle idol tradition.However, I must seriously criticize that, all being said and done, the Alicepia Defense Force did not receive nearly enough headpats. Justice for our brave birbs!

Continuing on with reading the anthology manga, there's been more heartwarming chapters.-Like Riri opening up and healing ever since she's met the trio and people in her class noticing she can be cute.-The girls having a party in the usual place, which reminds me that we never saw the sisters go back there? It felt very healing after all they had been through.-Or Calist catching a cold after mothering the other guys too much and them worrying about him, but even when he's touched by their care he still nags them.Kagari and her passion for B-grade movies still remains my favorite

When you reach the final scene you understand exactly both what's happening and why people are reacting to it the way they are.GC has some utterly schizophrenic pacing. It feels like two episodes crammed into one, and you could easily cut 50% of the slice of life setup in the first portion to give the rest more time to breathe.

I really like how Alice and the hags and Thoma literally live on in musessence itself. It's a great allegory of people living on in your good memories and in the things they did while also completing the show's setting and themes. Princession is such a clear hymn to life and art and self expression when you analyse it. In that sense Alicepia and the real world becoming one is saying you no longer need a special place where you're allowed to be yourself if we can make the whole world like that.

I'm honestly surprised it made it to bump limit, especially for a series that took a day or two to get any subs. Part of it was arguing about different anime though, which will hopefully die down once there's more episodes to think about. Interested in how the musical aspect will play into it. Creamy Mami was kind of a let down in that regard as it only had a couple of songs throughout its run and for a series with a pretty big idol focus its performance animation was lacking I felt. Hopefully we get a decent amount of well choreographed performances, plus the opening leads me to believe we'll have dimension hopping shenanigans like Flip Flappers (and Creamy Mami even).
I loved the ending. I’m a sucker for this kinda shit like Princess, Symphogear, Yuuki Yuuna — basically the true heirs of Saint Seiya (what it could’ve been without that washed-up drunk messing it up).
