Unsurprisingly, the Alliance has to keep jobbing for narrative tension despite possessing assets like Sora's mark, Sandek, chaos form Tokio, Sato, the Sword army, not to mention the tower Choujin who ought to be with the good guys now unless they're in Choujin jail. It's making it pretty obvious Sandek is going to be assassinated next while he's busy guarding Ely.
I'm reading again the manga and honestly everything post first timeskip it's great, especially Tokio. Volume 8 is really really good, you can see how everyone evolved and how Tokio is superior to others. Palma introduction and her fight against Tokio, Ely and Azuma was the best part of the volume too.Also one thing that I've neved been ask myself it's If Sato contracted Ume and Ricardo to take over Xember or If it's only was Batista.To be honest it will be so difficult to top Batista and Sora as antagonist that I don't think Hag Queem can do it, in fact I think she's merely a between arcs villain, basically a Sato psyop. I just hope Sato delivers or/and Ely-Azuma-Tokio conflict evolves for good (of the plot) in the future.Also, here's an omake of Simon jobbing to donuts of volume 7. I hope that Sato and Sadakawa trained him good in Nowaki to be honest, he always helped Tokio and he's a good lad.
