Was wondering if anyone wanted to provide some kind of insight as to why Sukuna is the way that he is. Specifically, I'm remembering when he fought Jogo and how much of a humilitation ritual it was for Jogo. I can understand the idea of toying with someone who is vastly inferior to you for your own sick pleasure or fun, but Jogo is very powerful and Sukuna even affirmed him at the end of his life that he was strong. Why then did Sukuna go all the way through with killing him? Jogo posed zero threat to him and was passionate about combat. Despite being a curse, he ironically had very human traits in which he was self-aware of his weaknesses and wanted to improve. How can Sukuna, despite his malevolence, recognize another being's passion for combat, the same one that he has, and also recognize that they are not weak, only to kill them and snuff them of their potential? Sukuna extracted all of the enjoyment he could've gotten out of the fight, he left Jogo exhausted, and he never got hit by a single attack.Did he begrudgingly kill him out of some principle that he can't walk away from a fight until it's finished? Did he kill him because he felt he had to, since he was a cursed spirit? Did he do it because he believes in some kind of idea where the weak can't be allowed to live?

>>287328319He flat out tells Yuji the weak have no right to complain about getting trampled on by him. He also told him he wasted his potential anyway what was the point. He played around with Jogo for a bit and killed him, he tells Kashimo that's the way he lives.
