I'm curious, how many animes do you think you've watched?
>animes
>>287335939I've watched about tree fiddy animes
>>287335939K-On! characters have irises that are too circular to qualify as anime (anime is an aesthetic, not a term that means Japanese anime)
at least three
>>287335975yes the plural of anime, more than 1
My anilist says over 400 animes…
>>287336629>over 400you mean only 400
>>287336162same as that anon
>>287335975ANIMESYes, leave my soul alone, you dirty soul anime eater jew.
There must be such a thing as enjoying too much anime. Someone who watches anything clearly can't have any tastes and i wouldn't listen to that person's opinion. I've surely watched more than 200 though i didn't care to count. I don't seem to like anime from the 70s and the 90s is when anime became serious.
>>287335939I only read isekai web novels
Bout tree fiddy
Dunno cause I don't keep track reallyI'm prolly at the 100 mark. Realtive newfag. Only been really watching anime for the last five years other than the occasional one here and there when I was younger
I am abnormally high due to being an oldfag, older than most oldfags.I have done 20-30 shows a season, every season since 1998 or so. That ads up, but I also had a buddy who owned an anime store in the 1990s and was able to watch for free pretty much the entire VHS era of 90s anime (good or bad, we just watched all new releases before he put them up for rent). Mercifully I watch very little shonen which keeps my episode count low. Overwhelmingly I stick to single cour shows and get bored and drop them if they get more than 2 seasons. I am sure there is a ton of 80s and 90s stuff I have simply forgotten that are missing from the list.
Over 1200
>>287335939About 250, I probably shouldn't be posting desu senpai, but I've been here for 16 years so I'm not going to lurk anymore.
>>28733593978, plus another 17 either in progress or dropped. I've been watching anime for almost 20 years, but I did a lot of rewatches of my favorites in all that time, rather than actively seeking out new anime constantly. I only started watching subs in 2020, which was also around the same time I figured out I like the genre I mostly watch now, so my world opened up then and I've mostly been going through the classics in that genre. I rarely watch seasonals, and anime only became my primary means of entertainment in the last couple years. At the rate I'm currently watching, I'll probably finish my whole backlog sometime next year, at which point I really will have to figure out what to do. I don't see myself suddenly watching lots of new shows, or seeking out worse and worse older stuff just to be let down again and again. I'll probably just go back to rewatching stuff over and over again like I used to do.
>animesThe correct term is animen.
>>287335939Total? Probably only 200-250 desu. Got into anime when I was 14, fell out of it when I was 17 and only got back into it a couple of years back (when I was 20-21). Even then I don't actually watch much nowadays, I prefer to read manga. Most shows lose my interest within a few episodes and I don't bother recording them.I scrubbed it when I was getting back in, but my MAL has 5 Watching, 67 watched, 31 from my old list to rewatch and 11 dropped. Of course a few of those have been rewatched a couple times.
>>287335939Must be over 2000 by simple logic but I feel it's more than that, just by starters I've been watching "seasonally" for 13 years already, that's about 100 a year for the least, there's like 18 years I didn't keep track of and I'm always following something new.
Stop replying earnestly you gay fags
>>287341323All native speakers say animes bro.
>>287335939I'll count then come back to you...1...2...wait I'm not done...3...
>>287335939>animes
At least 150
>>287335939I've been watching anime for almost 3 decades and somehow haven't seen as many different shows as you might expect since I've rewatched some shows dozens of times, probably close to a hundred rewatches on a few series
Not that many
>>287335939I've seen a few
>>287341768What were the 5 you dropped?
>>287341948Going to be lynched for thisAlso not the only ones, I dropped more than these, they're just the ones I bothered to mark as dropped
>>287342078The only one that I think is worth picking back up is Gurren Lagann. Needless is pretty fun, but if you're not enjoying it there's no point
>>287341584What the hell have you rewatched 100 times? What did you get on the 50th watch you didn't on the 49th?When were you diagnosed with alzheimers?
>>287342467TTGL and Needless are anime I should have watched when I was younger, I picked them up too late, didn't help that TTGL lost the only thing anchoring me to it by episode 12I think I could pick Horo's anime back up, I remember being mad about something when I dropped it but I can't remember what it was, meanwhile Monster wasn't to my tastes at all and I already read GS' Light Novel so whatever
>>287342475Why are you eating pizza for the 500th time this year? What did you get on 250 that you didn't get on 249?

>>287335939Ten
>>2873359396, 7
>>287335939Maybe on average six a year for the last 20 years, so 120?It's a rough estimate, but it feels about right.
423,783.3
>>287341512anon that's a child
It's not really reasonable to just say "how many"Yes, the vast majority of animes are about 12 eps long. That's just the standard in the modern age. But it's not uncommon for animes to have twice that legnt, or mutiple season. I wouldn't consider watching yuru camp as watching 3 (4 soon) animes, no sane person would. But the amount of time spent on it is equal to 3 or 4 "standard legnth" animes. Oh, you just watched all one million episodes of detective conan? Well, that only counts as one!A more realistic measure of how much animes you consume is the actual time spent watching, but most people are not going to calculate their watch times of everything ever unless there's a built-in tool on whatever website they track their shows on. I have no idea what my watchtime is because I don't track the shows to begin with
~350
>>287335939I'm not counting but it's probably somewhere in the hundreds. Also>animes

>>287349866>Oh, you just watched all one million episodes of detective conan? Well, that only counts as one! This is good though. People whose watch time is padded by watching artless formulaic multiple hundred episode dont count
