am i crazy? Sai was completely right and this moment made me hate Sakura/Naruto yet the internet finds Sai an asshole? They literally were shitting on him and wanting a traitorous murderer over him as a comrade and when he stands up for himself hes framed as in the wrong by Kishimoto?

I feel like this is when Naruto became a bad series. Naruto and Sakurai loving Sasuke, an evil terrorist that they barely know that tried to kill them and their friends is awful. The end of the arc also proves Sai right

I don't think that's necessarily true. It's made very clear throughout Shippuden that Sakura and Naruto are very irrational when it comes to Sasuke.
