He said he learned from his mistakes in college, but he basically stopped in time and did fuck all. I'd rather see him getting his social life together as an adult instead of getting some magic bullshit to give him a second chance. Unfortunately, that's not the point of the story, so it is what it is. Also, RELife is much better, even if you can't give the magical pill a pass.
