What manga deserve a way better adaption than what they actually got?Akira and Nausicaa are obvious ones that come to mind. Both have phenomenal, detailed, highly fleshed out manga, who's adaptions were basically both made only using elements from the first and second volumes mashed together to make sort of loose adaptation films.I'm sure this happened to a bunch of manga, especially in the classic era. So what manga deserve better adaptations than what they got?
