While I prefer the series' atmosphere more, the harsh lighting of the OVA(?) made the whole thing feel artificial and sanitized, perfect for the country. Same with the kinda wonky CGI. Loved it even though apparently it's not highly regarded.

2003 kino is one of my favourite anime ever.
