>>287413247Drifting classroom is a masterpiece of horror. Kazuo umezus writing is darker than any other I've ever seen, his world's bleaker and grimmer than any other. It was darkly refreshing to see a story where anyone can be a victim of some horrible fate, children and toddlers being no exception. If you liked drifting classroom then read 14, also by him.Another work is Baptism of Blood which is the most haunting thing I've ever read.On another note does anyone know where I can read all of My Name is Shingo? I got halfway through it somewhere but whatever I was reading it on didn't have the whole thing.

>>287420430Not really. Seeing kids die is rare. They might die in a backstory or die off-screen, but seeing kids die as a main part of the horror is rare globally. Of course you can post exceptions, like an older anime that showed children dying in atomic bomb strikes, but that as included for the emotional shock value because it was so rare.
