I have a slightly different theory about Imu.I think he's from the first age and at the end of it he took over. That also means he had access to all the technology from that sunken first world, which seems pretty advanced.We've seen that the holy knights (at least Sommers) have some sort of mechanical heart that possibly conveys regen powers. It stands to reason all holy knights have this.What I'm thinking is that Imu has one of these as well, but his is concealed in Pangea castle somewhere out of sight. Maybe it's a large device even. Just to make it more grand maybe there's a giant black mechanical heart powering him that's hidden out of sight. Usually the mechanical hearts are within bodies, like we saw with Sommers. But if Imu moves away from his heart, which is immobile in Pangea, he weakens or is on a timer. In this case transforming into his devil mode cancels out this problem, at least temporarily, but he needs to go back near it soon.The story is slowly introducing technology from the old times, the ancient kingdom was advanced but that was fairly recent. From the mural it seems that the first world was far more advanced than that even.
