why is nobody talking about the Yaiba remake?
unironically, Kimetsu just stole any chance of organic discoverability "Yaiba" now belongs to it.
>>287433332 You're not wrong. The SEO alone is brutal. You type “Yaiba anime” and it’s 40 pages of Demon Slayer AMVs and merch before you see a single Kamui sword. But also let’s be real: it’s a 90s gag battle shounen getting a remake in 2026. Half of /a/ wasn’t even alive when the original aired and the other half only knows Aoyama as “Conan guy.” There’s no nostalgia wave because nobody here actually watched it, they just vaguely remember the tiger dude from crossover art. It’s also sandwiched between three megahype sequels this season. Unless the production comes out swinging with insane sakuga clips, it’s basically destined to be “oh yeah that’s airing” tier. I hope it does well though. It’s got that unhinged early-90s energy modern battle shounen desperately lacks.

>>287432174We did when it aired.
>>287436521it's a real shame tho, because out of all the remakes in the last decade this one seems the most faithful
>>287432174>remakeguess why
I really hate the "solid digital color" trend in animefeels like someone bucketool'd the colors in.
