What did we learn from Uraraka Ochako AKA Uravity, Gravity Girl, Round Face?
>>287438024I learned how much I like reasonably big asses.
>>287438024To cuck the MC with his best (and way cooler) friend
>>287438024>>287438048Pic related for reference. Big but not inner city baboon big. Just a nice perfect size.
>>287438024you wont be respected as a mere teacher
>>287438257Wait what? Did they really animate that single little panel? Lol
>>287438279it was an important moment
>>287438024That you really do need money in this society
>>287438279It's more than Deku deserves
>>287438024If you get severe PTSD you can just work through it by becoming a workaholic and ignore your own needs and wants because there's countless other people out there that need your help so no! In no way do you ever leave time for yourself!
>>287438024fuck heroism, get fucked for money
>>287438257
>>287438024That money is important
>>287438024that she and most of the girls should have just been prostitutes and the story would be much more entertaining
Date the crazy girl, don't date the loser.
Nobody cares.
>>287438024That she's a cutie pie and does her best every day
>>287438024That Toga is the cutest girl in the whole world.
>>287438024Horikoshi should have died midway through writing MHA to improve the story.
>>287438024
>>287442772How does one achieve this posture
What kind of official Ochako toys should be made?
the amount of indians in this thread is unbelievable
>>287438024We learned that romantic leads need to actually interact with the MC on occasion and you can't just pretend they have a relationship in the framing and get the same results. Ochako was positioned to be the romantic lead and to even have an arc of her own. It was all basically on track up to the sports festival. But after the sports festival arc, Ochako... becomes a different character. A vastly more passive one, which Horikoshi was no longer interested in writing and was only kept around for marketing purposes. At no point in the story is the 'relationship' between her and Deku given anything more than the most passing of mentions to remind us that it supposedly might exist one day. Bakugo is treated like Deku's love interest more than Ochako is. Think about it, the damsel-in-distress stuff usually reserved for the heroine for the hero to go and save her from is instead displaced onto Bakugo. Ochako is just there to give Deku plausible deniability on not being gay. Meanwhile Ochako growing into a hero in her own right and having some hidden grit to her is set up wonderfully in the sports festival... and then literally never comes up again. Hori was so uninterested in writing Ochako that the best he could come up with for her was to have her be the one to give a shit that Toga exists since Deku was clearly never going to.
>>287438024That she looked like a side character in comparison to Mellisa.
>>287445508I simply think she was just accidentally forgotten about like Iida was too, Toga seemed to be an extra part for deku's step to learn something from her on Shigaraki. But he probably got so caught up in other shit to suddenly remember "Oh fuck! Ochako and all these others exist too... might need to push her to go do this with Toga instead"Cause stuff of Toga's obsession with being someone else felt more like a Deku thing than Ochako really.
>>287445596To me it felt like Ochako only became important because Toga was important because Toga was a villain in the main group and thats the only reason.
>>287445223Pic only makes me think of lewd stuff.
>>287445596It could have worked if Toga wanted to BE Ochako so that she could bask in affection from Deku and feel wanted, and this lead to some drama that actually progressed the relationship somewhat. But despite that being a really easy and obvious thing to do nothing came of it. >>287445523Mellisa unambiguously is the better love interest character. If she had been in the story from the start it would have been trivial to set her up as the primary love interest and have her support Deku from the back line as his friend and confidant, since she is in the inner circle on Allmight and OFA, is interested in quirks like Deku was, and is quirkless herself in a quirk based society which gives an easy connection with Deku. They have so much in common, and having a dedicated 'support tool maker' character on the main cast would make a lot of stuff down the line a lot less ass-pull. You could have set up the Allmight suit way easier, and given Deku his post-story iron man armor way easier and less embarrassingly.
>>287445704ehh i dunno, i think Toga was very much set up to be another step for Deku, i just can't see the comparison or anything with Ochako or Toga.>We are both girls!>A-And uh... crush on the same guy?Like it feels so random and out of nowhere, she never had any thoughts to Toga nor did Toga have much of her. I mean Izuku even points it out like he just knew her so well in that moment about wanting to be someone else, feels very odd almost like it came from a different part where it was just 1 on 1 between them both.>>287445799Sort of yeah! But toga even says how she liked that one dude from her school that looked like Izuku and then even wanting to be like Izuku (I don't count Ochako cause her attention was always on Deku before the war started)
>>287442772This is supposed to be intermediate?
>>287445995Jesus fucking Christ I love this frogge
>>287445508You’ve put it all into words, Ochako’s focus ended in the School Festival. The author says Toga was made for Ochako but I can’t buy that it was thought out beyond “girl hero vs girl villain” to the point where Toga wound up getting more to her (for better or worse) than Ochako.>>287445799Agreed about Melissa. I think Mei’s good too but Melissa fits the shoe perfectly. I wish the ending was Deku on his free time working with her and Mei along with the rest of class A funding the creation of the suit. I still find it off how Deku still waits for a handout.
>>287446677>I still find it off how Deku still waits for a handout. The ending that Deku deserved was to go and start a hero agency, where even if he no longer had a quirk and couldn't fight anymore he could manage and lead a team of other heroes (mostly his class mates, and maybe some reformed people that he felt deserved the chance like Gentle and Nagante). Nothing about the job of leading a hero agency actually requires you to have a quirk, just to be a good leader and the face of the company. Deku's primary motivation for everything was to save people. Running a hero agency lets him do that even if its not his hands and feet doing the work, and he can still take to the field sometimes to do stuff like help civilians to safety even if he doesn't have powers. If you absolutely MUST make UA a thing in the epilogue, have Deku do a stint as a teacher at UA. Lots of pro heroes do, so Deky teaching a course or two as a teacher at UA after some successful years as a pro hero would carry a lot of weight.
>>287446964Plus, at the beginning of the manga Deku was all about learning an researching about other people's quirks and how they could be used, so it would be fitting for him to retire and become a Hero manager or something.
>>287445457you being here isn't helping
>>287447795I don't post cuck stuff so i'm in the clear
