I'll repost my post from a different thread.

Gokurakugai is a decent enough binge but once you're all caught up you realize it's pretty much unreadable due to the awful pacing. It's basically a weekly shounen manga stretched to a monthly pacing. And there are breaks, too. Imagine waiting two months for just 18 pages of minimum possible development or nothing happening. Most monthly manga at least compensate with longer chapters that get shit done. Overall, it's a very generic 6/10 premise/story that you've seen done a million times before. It's held together by decent enough character dynamics, great art and some vibefull setting, but that's hardly enough to justify the giga molasses pacing and tiny ass chapters. If this shit is ever finished it'd be a passable binge or maybe better a watch if it ever gets an anime that has good animation.
