But recently there's been a trend of very bouncy dances that predominantly involve only the upper body (face and hands for the most part) in order to make it eye-catching but also very simple for an influencer to do easily in a costume and show off to their fans on tiktok using their smartphone on a desk. It has led to uninspired and kitsch imitations of dancing that take no real effort so that everyone can share them easily over social media, rather than something interesting and energetic like the Hare Hare Yukai which requires the full body and actual practice and skill to accomplish. Here's just an example of a dance requiring a bare modicum of effort, as opposed to OP's proclaimed "tiktok dances" where you just flap your hands and make funny shapes with your mouth.
