I'm gonna give it another episode, but I'm not feeling it so far. I can see why teens like it, and the show does have some fantastic production value that elevates the material, but it is too boring and inoffensive for me, especially the characters. I really like the way this scene was directed, for example, but if I cared about Coco and if the show had invested time in her relationship with her mom instead of the latter being a mere plot device, it would have been touching as well. But that wasn't the case.
