A lot of romsekai's have that though. The Familiar of Zero is very beloved and it has multiple sexy bulls (Wardes and Julio) and Louise makes it all the way to the damn altar with one of them. The problem is that I don't understand what this added to the show? At best it's meaningless drama that adds side-character padding to a genre that is already heavily criticized for dragging it's knuckles and at worst it's the author's thinly veiled betrayal fetish. You're also asking to supply more sexy boys to a straight male target audience and the demand for that is nothing. On the one hand men sexually fantasize about women but their power fantasies involve beating or winning over other men, but this is communicated much more compellingly via combat than some kind of sex competition which is ultimately going to do nothing but add a bunch of jobbers that nobody is very interested in unless you have a bunch of women or gay men watching for some reason.
