Going by the first episode, I thought that the series was going to devolve into the same joke, but at least for now that doesn't seem to be the case. I didn't expect it to actually explain why the MC feels so much devotion to this author in particular, so I was pleasantly surprised. It is easy to see why his work resonates so much with her. On the weaker side of things, the art and animation continues to be all over the place. Some cuts are decent, others are good, others are pretty damn bad, which is a shame. Also, I don't like Glasses Guy, he comes across as creepy and opportunistic.
