Was it ever explained why there was a second Curse moving around freely when Kaiman got decapitated by Shin in season 1? I know that the head was important later but what happened to the Curse that stole it? Was it inside and outside Kaiman at the same time? Did the outside Curse carrying the head disappear on its own after it dragged it into the sorcerer world or something?

I just started watching this show last week, I dont know why I skipped it when it first aired but it's fucking awesome..Such a unique and cool world and premise, and every character is likeable.Definitely picking the manga up after this season is done, gunna start season 2 today

Just finished a reread, something I've really grown to appreciate is how, for the most part, DHD's story flows continuously and isn't broken up into arcs. Not that you couldn't define certain stretches like that everything in the Central Department Store with Devil-Kai maybe but it's not segmented off with boss fights and arc-specific casts who are lucky to ever be seen again, everyone has their own place in the story and it keeps marching on. inb4 "shonenshitter reads his first seinen" etc. but you see that type of storytelling everywhere regardless of demographic/magazine. If you skipped any part of DHD you'd be even more confused than you already are reading it, but it really enhances the experience, I just can't put it down any time I come back to it.Maybe I'll try Dai Dark sometime.
Name a more compelling mystery in all of anime.You literally can't. It's also more compelling than all of live action TV. Even more than Twin Peaks, since that was a mystery that wasn't supposed to have a reveal.
