To give you an example, the Yomi no Tsugai thread just died. Back in the day, those types of shows would have several threads reaching the bump limit on the day they released a new episode, but now it lasted from Sunday to today and it didn't even reach the reply limit. Hell, even threads for WSJ series are struggling when an anon dumps a new chapter. That's how dead this place is.

I think a lot of romcom enjoyers simply get turned off since it's more focused on the relationship between the two friends rather than the romantic aspect and slice of life fans wouldn't pick it up thinking it's a pure romcom rather than just having a hint of romance while being a slice of life comedy.The designs for the girls are also shoujo-esque which I know turns off people for whatever reason.As for me, I think it's not out loud funny but amusing. Aimi and Nami have pretty good chemistry and I enjoy their antics together.
