If someone can answer this because I couldn't find it online, what is the native resolution that Frieren is/was just produced in for S1 and S2? I was kinda all in for S1 but S2 was going to be filler without Golden Land so I left it for later and that later is here. I know like a decade ago, shows were starting to go above 720p and some were even doing 960p. Is it worth even downloading the 1080p web subs if they are going to do some dumb bilinear upscale from something like that vs 720p? I heard there were also some issues with the Blu-rays of Frieren S1. So is it worth downloading or should I just find a pack of 1080p encodes and better than SubPlease to watch this on?
