yeah I gave it a fair try but it's a drop for me lads.I thought I'd actually be able to stomach this since it didn't also have an awful vaseline filter and garish post-processing like VEG did but man this author's writing style is so fucking obnoxious to me.It's so goddamn overwrought and melodramatic and I still don't give a damn about any of the characters nor have been given any good reason to do so

If you ever put any thought into writing a story, you know it's normal to connect with your characters by thinking about their personalities, their feelings, and their actions. The problem is that the author wrote everything from his own perspective as someone who already cared about the characters and forgot about the audience, who has no reason to care about them at all.Or at least that's what I think whenever anything regarding Sakura or Hinagiku comes up.I liked the ending with the sisters, but I wish Ayame's bitterness was rawer instead of a mixture of love and hate.

This is a really weird show. I think it looks phenomenal, but the writing is so messy. I get what it's going for, the avatar of Spring goes around and brings change and "life" for lack of a better word into peoples lives, and I like the message this episode had about how there are times you can truly never meet the people you cherish again, so it's best to be kind to them. But holy fuck it really feels like 5min+ long traumadump crying scenes, with tiny breaks of either action or cuteness, back to the same thing. The emotions are so constantly at 11 that it's one, hard to feel for the characters and two tiring. I'm a pretty big crybaby when it comes to entertainment and this show does nothing for me, it's just exhausting. It's so close to being a drop but there's too many decent things about it.

Yeah, I'm going to have to drop this. I can't handle multiple scenes in every episode where the characters piss and shit themselves crying over some relatively tame melodrama, and the VAs wail like grieving mothers. It's just way, way too much. It looks nice, the character designs are nice (I especially liked the summer twins' design), it's animated well, but my God... just tone it down a bit. I watched Violet Evergarden when that aired, and although my memory of it is hazy, I certainly don't remember it being anywhere near as melodramatic as this (I guess because her being unable to process emotions was a plot point). And yes, the entire premise about people embodying seasons is dumb, but that wouldn't have mattered if it didn't take itself so seriously.Anyway, I hope (You) enjoy it if you keep watching. Adios.
