I'll be storytiming the manga, one complete case per day. Most cases are around 3-6 chapters long.
Feel free to drop in at any time, since it's mostly episodic.

We've had this before. Someone was practicing for a murder that's about to happen
>>

>>287546040
>asshole victim hated by everyone
>random suicide as motive
>three suspects who each hand him an item before the murder
It's like a checklist at this point

The amount of English I'm learning with Conan. So barroom is a word and it means just bar, curious
>>

Hey, I did that as a show experiment at a science fair once.

Thanks OP
Nice twist on the Sleeping Moore thing.
>>
>>287546391
A nice twist on the "here's what happened" portion
>>

He's drunk already? I thought he would had more resistance

>>287546054
eh, not a bad one.
>>
>>287546449
It's so weird to see a person craft a murder so meticulously but still give a reason for him to be a suspect. Neither of them even have an alibi, the police just can't find the murder weapon. I'm sure it isn't so hard to kill someone in a remote place, or even not make yourself one of the suspects.
>>
>>287546403
For some reason I think this girl actually wanted to fuck Kogoro, but then she got the ick.
>>287546464
>>
>>287546317
wtf she's the one that resolved the case and is throwing hints around. step up your game, conan.
>>
>>287546490
thanks op.

Can we end this series?
>>
>>287548717
No.
>>
>>287546482
>>287546490
Why is Conan acting so shocked? It's not like they got any valuable information since he let Jodie in the dark about Akai. And the fact that Bourbon is trying to suss him out shouldn't be a surprise either.
>>
>>287546265
>Yoko's wet and wild
I love Kogoro.
>>
>>287546482
That's not quite right, is it? They had no way to make sure the hostages came alone. What they did do was get the hostages to tape up people they don't know.
>>
>>287547445
When I looked at the chapter titles in the ToC I couldn't parse it all and ended up with engine noises instead. Doesn't really make sense, but weird Viz-isms don't care.
>>
>>287550540
huh
>>
>>287545960
Sexy hardboiled Kogoro.
>>
>>287546226
>>287546240
I feel like it's got to be the poster and film, since that's the most absurd and least expected way to deliver the poison.
>>

RIP the 'Kogoro knows' theory
>>
>>287546370
Conan isn't even trying at this point
Also rare case from Kogoro pov, I like it

I'm actually stunned how little effort his brain puts into finding out what is happening to him.
>>
>>287547445
I wouldn't say it "just means bar", by including "room" it contains more information and as a result becomes more specific. To me, the central subject of the word is the room, with bar added as a prefix (like bedroom, ballroom, etc). I would in other words expect the bar in the establishment to be limited to one room (otherwise, why specify the room and not just say "bar"), and might also suspect that there are more rooms with other functions.

Footnote: although English doesn't always write words compounded (dining room, gaming room, ..) it's still allows for compounding of any words - just like the other Germanic languages
>>
>>287546008
This doesn't make any sense

"My name is violet so I'm highly aware of the smell of violets"
>>
>>287546276
when did takagi show up
>>
>>287555129
It's just autism, her name having yuzu in it made her fixated on anything yuzu. Probably has her home decorated in colors of yuzu, with pictures of it on walls.
>>
>>287555136
He's probably been around, doing various errands, and was only now needed in spotlight.
>>
>>287546080
>>287546255
Gosho teasing just a bit more with each unraveling..
>>
>>
>>287555064
Guess he doesn't care if it gets him fame and fortune. Although I would imagine Gosho will address it when the story hits endgame. If the story ever will reach endgame.
>>
>>287555064
I'm more stunned by how MUCH effort his brain puts into NOT finding out what's happening to him.
We know that Kogoro is a good detective who's only held back by laziness and a lack of personal investment. When he's motivated, he's sometimes even a step ahead of Conan (like the case with his classmate who was an actress).
You'd think he'd be more motivated to figure out what he's doing when he blacks out, but his brain just invents an excuse and he doesn't question further.

>>287546490
thanks op

>>287555129
Japanese superstitions.
>>
>>287548368
I accepted this after some anon posted that Gosho purposefully make the murders convoluted so that no one could copy them or use them for inspiration
>>
>>287555129
You mean like how your blood type determines your personality?
>>
>>287546370
oh so that is what he thinks
>>
>>287557745
Have there been any successful crimes inspired by fictional murder cases?
>>
>>287558161
For sure
You don't hear about them because they're successful though
>>
>>287546490
Thank you for posting.
