It's been a while since the manga ended. Do you remember any theory you had for the ending back when it was still getting published?
>I thought the manga would end with Laios turning into a monster and flying away with Falin (based on the childhood flashback where Laios promises to do that with Falin)
>I thought Izutsumi was going to be the next Dungeon Lord, not Marcille (because she had a wish impossible to grant with normal magic and poor impulse control).

I was afraid Falin would not make it. Glad I was wrong.
I had this wish that Patadol ends up an elvish ambassador and marries/adopts the captain and our girl went and nailed the former and there are some hints it could even be the latter. SQUEEEE

I figured pretty early that Marcille would become the dungeon lord, I guess from the moment she mentions ancient magic it's not realty that surprising, but still a lot of people kept insisting it would be Laius anyway but no part of me saw it as anything but a red herring.

I'm glad I was right because her new getup was very cute.
