All we know about the previous members of the god hand is that they no longer are around.
This gives us a hint that they aren't invincible.

Yeah people keep overstating it like Skull Knight has a God Hand kill-count notched on the hilt or something.

All we actually saw was that during that ancient Eclipse there were *different* silhouettes behind Void. That only tells us the lineup changes over centuries. It doesn’t tell us **how** they’re replaced, if they’re killed, ascended, rotated out, whatever. Could be causality itself cycling them.

If anything, SK failing to so much as scratch Femto at Albion kinda implies the opposite of “lol he sealed a bunch already.” The Behelit sword can cut space and he still whiffed the kill.

Griffith becoming incarnated is the only concrete vulnerability we’ve been shown. He went from untouchable idea-of-evil tier entity to something that can at least occupy a physical vessel. The real question isn’t whether God Hand can die, it’s whether killing the vessel even matters.

Miura wouldn’t make it that simple anyway. If there’s a precedent for replacement, then worst case scenario you just free up a seat at the table. And with Guts’ luck, guess who causality would groom to fill it?
