I’m not going to lie as a WN reader, the adaptation of the cave scene was absolutely awesome. But as usual, I think the pacing was too fast. The conflict between Ram and Subaru should have been built up with many high tension banter before. I remember hating Ram awfully much because of her damn mouth. And when Subaru finally snapped, I naturally rooted for him with all my might. As for the gore scene, maybe because I was reading it in the middle of the night but the atmosphere of it was genuinely spine-chilling, and I remember having to pause for a moment when Tappei described Anastasia’s intestines spilling out in a chaotic mess. I haven’t forgotten how that scene stayed in my head for several days.

The cave scene was awesome, couldn't ask for more. The HHK fight on the other hand was kinda disappointing imo. "A WHITE LIGHT PIERCED" should've been portrayed in a much exaggerated sense. Usually the anime never misinterprets such climactic set pieces so this is a first. Great episode otherwise 9/10.

In that arc Rom and Otto are able to figure out how Al's authority works well enough to corner him, so they could possibly do the same if they became Subaru's enemies. And obviously as the arcs go on, everyone that sees him in action can eventually see he's able to achieve miracles that get everyone he cares about through impossibly dangerous sitautions. There at least one more witch and a group called observers that probably know too, but they haven't done anything in the story yet.
