He then says he's considering 3 possible endings, one that will piss off most people but he personally likes, one that will have mixed reception, and one that fans will like. >>287635866I really don't think so. HxH can get pretty edgy, but this edginess is more about setting up the challenge, HxH is overall an optimistic story of change and redemption. And I don't think Togashi writes it like this against himself, given the full creative control thing. So if he likes the ending, it's probably not like this. What's more, the deaths he writes are usually well received by fans. There must be something more to it. Like DC ending up being some kinda fabrication by Don, like his own verion of a Greed Island, set there as a challenge for humanity.
