I almost finished my small project which is an investing game for airing seasonal anime. Basically it works tracking myanimlist score of said show. You can either normally invest in a show or "short" it. For example, investing at 7.03 score if then moves to 7.04 grants you 5% I'll leave some pics in case anyone cares, this was a lil project I wanted to make. It has several mechanics

Well anyway,The game has two type of investment mechanics; normal & shorting. You can also use leverage with your investments.The core mechanic of the game is basically tracking the score and each 0.01 movement representing a variation on your investment, depending on the leverage you are using and if it's a normal investment or shorting.Leverage x1 moves your investment by 5% for every 0.01 score movement. Leverage x2 moves your score at 10%, and leverage x3 at 15%.

If you use x3, 15%So a movement from 7.05 to 7.08 at x2 leverage represents a 30% up/down on your investment.It is highly volatile, but this is the best I could design because like you said, it doesn't move that much.There are other mechanics for shows that have not yet aired as well
